Python Job: Macro VBA - Office Script developer

We are seeking a Excel Macro/Office Script developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing custom Excel macros and Office Scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve the productivity of our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Excel, VBA, and scripting languages, as well as experience in developing custom macros and scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and enhance custom Excel macros and Office Scripts
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity
• Create and modify VBA code for use in macros
• Work with business users to gather requirements and create macros/scripts to meet their needs
• Troubleshoot and debug macros/scripts
• Test and validate macros/scripts to ensure accuracy and functionality
• Document macros/scripts and provide training and support to end-users

Qualifications:

• Experience in developing custom Excel macros and Office Scripts
• Experience in VBA programming language
• Strong knowledge of Excel functions and formulas
• Experience with data analysis and visualization in Excel
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Stay up-to-date with the latest macro/scripts developments and tools.
• Fluent in spoken and written Spanish and/or English.

Bonus points if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot
• Familiarity with cloud-based automation platforms such as Power Automate.
• Experience with other Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL
